we went here the other week for a treat after just having a baby as my sister had been previously and had nothing but positive things to say. Unfortunately my experience was nothing alike. The staff were rude and we waited to be seated for a booked table for 10 mins as 2 staff members stood looking at us chatting seemingly ignoring us. Went to the bar and was met with the same treatment so only got a drink when our server approached after about 30 mins. There was a table of roudy boys throwing things and shouting and nothing was said yet it seemed as though WE was treat like crap. not ideal considering we spent over £150 on food 🤣 left feeling insecure and ill be sure not not recommend to anybody. We ordered both burgers and steaks and was nice but not worth the agro of customer service, especially for the prices!

A bit dissatisfied, I feel it is overpriced. I had the steak which was cold in places general fries and a cold tomato which was close to £30. My husband had the cod looked lovely but again nothing to shout about. Our waitress was lovely, it was very busy however service was good.

Beautiful restaurant, me and my girlfriend got the butchers block and I was blown away, every steak was cooked exactly as we asked and the rest of the food was amazing. The service was great and very friendly from phoebi. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

The Sunday lunch sharing board was delicious.. Will definitely be back. The meats were cooked perfectly chicken steak and lamb. Would have preferred a few more potatoes instead of having 2 portions of the vegetable maybe give 2 portions of the roast potatoes (only as I don't like veg). The steaks which the other guests i was with looked amazing and cooked to perfection. Waiting time for food was a little slow but once it arrived it made up for it.

Awesome place that serves decent , mouthwatering food that is full of flavour !Miller & Carter has been on our go to list for quite some time now and I am glad , that we finally visited ! Meals were amazing and tasty, the waiting time however was shocking , it took 10 to 15 minutes to even get the drinks , then over an hour for food . I appreciate , that it was a busy sunday afternoon, but still ... anyway , meals were worth the wait . Well, meals that got to our table as one dish was missing . I thought it was still in the making , but it was nowhere to be seen as we almost finished our mains . I mentioned the matter to the waitress who apologised , brought the lobster tail to the table and advised that in light of the delay , it will be taken off the bill.
Overall , we were very happy with the atmosphere , quality of food and the aesthetics ! Would give a 5 out of 5, if it wasn't for the waiting time . :)

We had the Butchers Block which was amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic. Big shout out to Amelia, Greenmount Bury who went above and beyond 5⭐️

Mixed reviews for this place staff was fine warm cosy atmosphere,steak was cooked to perfection too.
Downsides overpriced and cheeky vat on top of your bill.
Cheese starter with beetroot was and pesto sauce was a little bland ,think a nice purée of some kind would have worked well.
Dessert sticky toffee pudding was ok but the date crumble didn’t go with it.
Maybe that needs a rethink yes crumble but not date

Steak at this place is 11/10, absolutely on point. The service by Charlotte was amazing, very kind and patient with us whilst choosing our food, would definitely recommend this place 💞💞

Now I'm no Karen, but as someone who has worked in hospitality before, I can truly say I was disappointed with my experience here.
We wanted the Valentine's Day set menu to which we were informed there were no desserts left (that we wanted). Which is fine, however, after 40 minutes from ordering and eating our starters, we were informed that they didn't have our mains. Poor communication from kitchen to front of house.
We alternatively ordered the steak and cod fillet. The cod was really oily and just didn't taste nice. The steak was okay however it would've been nice if it was basted with butter and garlic whilst cooking.
Considering this was a Valentine's Dinner and how expensive it was, this certainly wasn't worth the price.
No fault on front of house, in fact, they were lovely and gave us a check in. Not wanting to cause a scene, we didn't mention it.

Great experience. Our server and all staff were so polite and attentive. Food was amazing. I had cauliflower for starter and full rack of ribs for my main. Will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect on this visit. Being Valentine’s Day I thought we may not get what we wanted or the service would be slow. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Set menu, I asked for a different starter and they accommodated well!
